President
Andrew Malone is the President of United Shipping Company, proudly continuing the legacy of his father, the company’s co-founder. With a background in aviation and logistics, Andrew brings decades of leadership experience and operational insight to the maritime industry.
He previously served as Director of Operations and Chief Pilot at Seair Airways and has held key leadership roles on the Board of Nassau Airport Development, the Board of Governors at Queen’s College, and the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army for The Bahamas and Turks & Caicos. Under his direction, United Shipping continues to grow as a trusted partner in cruise, yacht, private island, and logistics services throughout the Bahamas.
Alan Sweeting
General Manager
As General Manager of United Shipping Company, Alan Sweeting brings over two decades of leadership in aviation and logistics. Before joining the company in 2024, he served as General Manager for JetBlue Airways at Lynden Pindling International Airport for 19 years, where he led operations and customer experience initiatives.
With a background in management and a passion for service, Alan now oversees daily operations across United Shipping’s cruise, yacht, island, and logistics divisions—ensuring every client experience is seamless, efficient, and professional.
